on a darkling plain.

i am the child of the wasteland....a land of haunted houses and monsters i call father. dark talents run in the family, but i shatter the glass to let the moonlight in, not to destroy something fragile for the feeling of breaking beneath my fists. all i can do is scream, crawl out, and keep screaming. but i can hold the sparrow, mend its wing... i am the spring rain and the hurricane... the monsters cower now, not me, not you. *xn*

cold cold cold! it was.. shouldn't complain i always say i love it but ick sometimes its.. ouch. hey how about this useful old sayin' ~One man's trash is another man's treasure~ how true, and today i stopped in this thrift store, well i went in to look around and get warm and i always rifle through the toys and *!!ah!!* talk about major score- a mohair vintage english teddy bear full tags, a limited ed. from a store in the UK full tags, only 2.00$. I was sooo happy to put it lightly- so now you think i should go sell it, well no. i love him, i'll keep him. thing is i don't think i'm going to have some major amount of money to leave future child/children, so when i find cuties like this i keep them so if one day my grown up babies find themselves in need of money they can be the ones to sell stuff. i'll be dead and gone and i want to leave something, currently i have a lot of great and wonderful things that will either translate into cash or a cuddle in the future. i have been very lucky this way but also its not all luck i just know what to look for, stuff others pass up or give away to thrift stores. anyway that was such a COOL thing! Here the teddy sits looking happy. i got all my outside stuff done today (yay) and on the way back down my street the mosque up the block had a man outside doing the song, the call to prayer. He stands outside and sings and it was amazing, suddenly the east village street was like some exotic otherworldly place. sun setting clouds. just amazing.
